In the meantime, make sure no one is in your, restart your game, then do /cprivate. This does the trick.

blue: do you have any modifications to the minecraft client installed? I am trying to find the common factor among the people that are having this happen.

The common factor is "LOLNOTCH". I would bet my adminship that it isn't anything clientside.

FillerB: agreed. But, now we have confirmation.

    JHubbz_ and bluebanana:
One or all of your chests?
Limited to a single geographical location?
Not locking every time, or just some of the time?
Are your chests in a public, or zoned area of the map?
Unlocked to everyone, a class of user (Guest, Memeber, etc)?

Or just LOLBUKKIT or LOLLAG or LOLORCWORM. It could be a thousand-and-one things server-side. Blaming Notch is just the easiest to understand for all.

Lol yar, you'd only ban him if he griefed you. Yah sometimes if you move the chest it works better :/

I think the key thing to do is to hide your chests as if you weren't able to lock them, that way we can atleast track a player for actual block damage when the plugin screws up.

The other option is to place block above all chest, locking them unless the block is removed. Thus, a player MUST grief to gain access to your chests. (Not sure about how to get contents back, that's an Orc issue.)
