Skyrim
I've heard an unbelievable amount of hype about Skyrim. Heard many good and bad things, mixed opinions. So, my question is, should I get it? I've been asking people about it and I feel like I haven't got enough opinions yet, so throw em' at me.

Download for free, if you don't like it, lose nothing but bandwidth and time.

Re: Skyrim
I never played any of the Elder Scrolls game until Skyrim. I stopped playing MW3 and tried it out. I've yet to pick MW3 back up It's very good, it generates infinite side quests, it's well worth your money, bandwidth and time.

Re: Skyrim
MW3 is shite anyway.
The only good thing about that game is the Survival, and even that's crap because it's only 2 players and not 4.

Re: Skyrim
Skyrim is bloody brilliant, nothing better than getting Daedric armor,100 heavy armor skill, all perks that improve your heavy armor. Then getting the perk that adds your gauntlets damage to your un-armed damage. Then realising you do about 100 damage with your fists.

Re: Skyrim
In short it is a great game. And with aleast 300+ hours of gameplay on the one character it's well worth the money.

Re: Skyrim
I'm playing it on the 360 and pc. And in all honesty I'm probably going to stick to the 360. Just because for me the moveent and gameplay seems to be just all round better on the 360. So I will be going without the mods, it realy doesn't need them. And before I get shit-spammed by you guys saying I can use the 360 controller with my pc. I know, and I don't give a fuck. I prefer the 360 in this case.

Re: Skyrim
What kind of PC do you have that would make the movement and gameplay worse than on console? I'd think a good PC could run it with much higher fps and thus would be much smoother.

I'm talking about button layout and analog control. That's what I find easier.

Re: Skyrim
Alright, I gotcha', I guess it's subjective regarding whether you're accustomed to mouse & keyboard or controller

Re: Skyrim
I'm used to both, but for fps and some rpgs I prefer controller. For other rpgs and stuff like rts' and stuff like that, then mouse and keyboard ftw.

Bad thing about consoles: can't download for free.
Bad thing about pc gaming: can't resell games.

Re: Skyrim
luminous i was going to download Skyrim free for the computer (free ofc. but i'm not saying how on here where everyone can see it >.> ) So yah like as soon as i get this computer that i have been waiting for i'm going to download it and waste my winter break on games like Skyrim, TF2, terraria, mabie some minecraft ect, But still i have a ton of games to play this winter break. But yah to the main part about this i would download it and if I didn't like it would uninstall it and delete the download for it. Well if you get it for the console then you might have wasted about 60$ and if you were to resell you won't get as much as selling it to someone who would want it and would pay full price for it. and for that is my two bits

Just requires more knowledge than how to download a torrent client.
