can someone help fix this

can someone fix this please... every fricken time i tp to my home or log in, same blocks turn black and mobs spawn instantly... wtf im pissed. only started happening AFTER orc zoned my base so i think it has to do with that. please help

Same thing has been happening to me...
I find if you remove the torch and replace it, it fixes it for a bit.

Not too sure what you're trying to show... put down more torches?

It's a glitch, places that should be lit become extremely dark (As in with no light at all.) and monsters might spawn on them. Have you tried deleting the block and planing it again?

It seems that when you knock down the torch it resets, but when you log off again, it goes back to what it was, almost as if the server or client is not recalculating the light properly.

Same thing is still happening to me...

I get the feeling this is related to a dodgy plugin, the only thing is I don't recall adding anything to modify the day / night cycle, lighting or anything similar to that.

Again, did you try deleting the blocks that get darkened? Not the torch, but the blocks.

I've seen this happening all over the server now but other than being dark there doesn't seem to be any problem with it. I was mining underground with quite a few spots like this and nothing spawned in the dark spots as long as torches are there.

k after replacing the torches it goes away, but when i log in its done it again, also replacing the blocks doesnt make a difference. anywhere i go dig from my home spawn which is zoned, it happens to that new dug out spot... wtf right
