Survival Island (And other custom maps)

Yeah, I want the old island thingy, the fire sea has very limited resources on the chests, I got most of those and died, so there are almost no resources... Once you get to the mine, it gets really boring, there are thousands of... Everything, same as the "heaven" as Pure called it, you get food and iron there, and gold iron and diamond on the other part... The "mine" section is also noticeably man-built, being just several perfect tunnels... So yeah, boring... The old island is pretty cool though, specially since people need to work together to achieve anything... I do think we should reset these servers pretty often too, I mean... They're cool for a couple of days, maybe a week... Then it gets like "normal MC". We could set up other stuff if we find something, like we did with the fire sea map, so it's not a closed thing... Yes?

Well, you link to the different maps you want to try out and I'll use them.

I assume you're referring to Survival Island v1.1?

keep survival island v1 ... dont reset it cos its fun as hell the way it is ...

I won't be changing the first server, it's the second I'll be swapping maps on as the players tire of them.

add me for any of the second server ... i wana try a bit of variation aswell as the v1 ... oh and btw there appears to be a glitch where i cant view my blood count as a vampire ... it tells me i dont have permission for the basic /v or v command ...

The /v commands can only be accessed by OPs when a group system isn't used. I was trying not to load down the servers with various plugins to fix things so that's one of the 'consequences' I guess.

tbh thats about the only problem with being a vampire ... well burning in the sun aswell but hey ... so theres no way im gonna be able to check my bloodcount unless i go on a murder spree ...

The only way to get commands would be by implementing a Permissions system, for a 4-5 slot I don't really see the point to be honest.

Map cycle completed, use /spawn on the second server if you spawn in total darkness, once again it's lolNotch's inability to set spawn points correctly so a plugin had to be used to fix it.

if youre a vampire on the v1 watch the fuck out ... cos youll spawn on the island like i did and get burnt to a crisp

I just played Survival Island. i was all alone, I died twice and I planted about 30 trees and made a house.

I've just been on the desert survival one, good idea and it needs it's own thread I think or should the talk just stay in this thread alone?

I saw you on it too, krios. and I think it should since basically its like its own mini server with random people of whom I do not know.

yeah tbh recently on the main server i'm getting drained out and i'm lacking the motivation to build and I did some good help back on the old freebuild server and this server is keeping it fresh for me which should keep things going for me on minecraft for a good while now anyway i'm gonna open a thread for the server probably in either off topic or general IMO.
