    OK so this thing has been bugging me since day one.not being able to see anything on account of the chat box.so here's what you do go to "C\documents and settings/your computer user account\application data\.minecraft.open the options.txt file and find the GuiScale:0 line.change the value to 2.relog and voila,you can seez nowz.peace out

    I tried this, and unfortunately it also shrinks the hotbar and inventory screens. Should have been more settings Sad
