Only a complaint if proven true.

I believe that aapl2 tp killed me, right after I killed him. I'm not saying he DID... but I want to know. He believes his wolves teleported, however I feel he tp'd to me since my items were gone once I spawned (I died on my exact spawn point).

He was courteous enough to return some of my items (kept most of them), but I don't care about that.

I just want to know if I should be mad at him or not (and basically bounty his head) because of this.

This thread is basically this:

I need someone to check the logs and find out if he actually did tp kill me.

If he did, then something should be done.

If he didn't, then good job, wolves.

The wolves stay for a bit and fight after their owner die, so guess that's what happened here

I've tested wolves before. Never seen a wolf teleport after someone who /home'd. I /home'd.

This is what I see from the log segment jarvis posted:

You /home'd. aapl2 followed to your /home. You killed aapl2, in your home. His wolves killed you in your home after you had killed him.

I've seen this a few times and the wolves always instantly teleport back with the owner to wherever he spawned. Maybe if its ridiculously lagging they wouldn't for a few seconds, but from looking at the logs it looks like Aapl2 was using the wolves to cover for a TP-kill. (ie tps to you, wolves come with, wolves kill you, then aapl2 doesnt show in logs.)

Uh, aapl2 TPed to Zuwrath's home, not went on foot, the logs are clear about that. And then made the wolves aggro. Tping to someone and getting your wolves to kill them is a TP kill, if it isnt, everyone will just TP without permission and bring wolves to kill whoever tries to attack them.

Sure, killing someone after teleporting to them is not ok. However, we dont know if aapl attacked first or not. If ZuWrath decided to kill him when he followed to his home, and got killed by the wolves afterwards.. well, hopefully you see where I'm going with this.

Also, wolves stay for a bit if you dont respawn instantly. I noticed this on the temp map after I got killed, and waited a bit before pressing respawn. My wolves did continue attacking for a while.

skoglol, you don't know what you're talking about.

I was running in the fields, looking for chests to pillage.

I come across aapl2, comment on his work, then kill him. His wolves start to run for me, so I do /home.

Next thing I know, wolves have killed me (in my HOME), and my items are all getting picked up (you can hear the "blup" sound over and over).

He tp killed me. The logs prove it.

Punishment needs to be brought forth.

Yeah, but read the logs more carefully.

ZuWrath kills aapl2. (NOT in either of their homes, presumably in the middle of nowhere).

ZuWrath goes /home.

10 seconds later, aapl2 goes /tp ZuWrath. TPs directly to his home, bringing wolves with him.

The only way him or his wolves could have got there so fast was TP. The wolves were just a way to make it look slightly less blatant in the logs, but it is still obviously a TP kill if you read the logs.

Edit: people are claiming all over the place that aapl2 is TP killing today. I know Gnomeygnome was saying he was TP killed by aapl2 not long after ZuWrath, but Gnome never made a complaint thread. Wonder if the logs would show if the same thing happened to Gnomey, ie wolves being used to cover up.

He tried to /tp kill me the other day after I apparently "spawn-killed" him.. Which I gave him a warning for.

Is tping directly to the person you wanted to kill always considered a tp kill, or only within a certain time frame? Kind of scary to think that someone might TP to someone, be invisible because of glitch, wait around for 20 seconds, and then just kill them and not have it considered a tp kill.

Personally I always make sure to stop using compass, TP or magic carpet at least a hundred blocks from whoever I'm planning to kill. Otherwise it might seem like its being used for more than transport.
