My suggestion is to fill the orc statue with lava, since fire spread is turned off.. and it'll be funny when people go to grief it.

maybe make an inner pool, as in another circle within the water pool, filled with lava, that also makes it harder to go to the statue.

I like the water around orc and I don't see the point in letting them die before hand, as it is a good greifer 'trap'. But it would just be more amusing if in the process of greifing lava oozed out of the holes and killed them. >>

Put water in it. Once the water source is cut off from the rb, fine. And They'll get pushed back making it harder to grief.
