Terraria servers?

Hello, i was looking for Terraria servers and i did find some but it kept saying that i can't join it because the
connected party didn't respond in time. Can someone please help me with this problem and tell me what to do?
And also give me some server ip's?

I use Terraria Pre Alpha i think and don't use hamachi or bukkit or whatever.

The only server I know of is mine, and it's been full for the past 14 hours, no joke.

meh, every once in a while i get tired of sheer lack of common sense and my troll side comes out.

but i mean srsly... he read the rules... he should have realized what it was.
