Yes I told Orcworm about this a couple months ago, when I found a grief just like that from another guest.. Oh and it says I can build there because I am allowed to build in the zone 'east' so I think the overlapping zones is the problem, the solution would be to parent the zones making yours a child.

If I happened to be the WorldGuard developer, sure. Unfortunately though, I'm not. Parent-child zones are still non-functional as far as I'm aware.
