Google+ review

I've been on Google+ for about a week now. I'm really liking it.

I've got 40 or so mates from eve online in a circle and I find its quite good. It's clean, easy to use, and the circle thing is neat. You can put up a status similar to Facebook but pick the circle (group of choice) that can see it or make it public. Threading on photos is cool as well.

I haven't had time to do the "Hangout" option but it looks as if you can watch movies, video chat and play games together.

It has attributes of both twitter and facebook. Twitter wont see much affect but Facebook could see a challenge. Overall it integrates nicely into the google products.

I found Facebook to be more fun when it first came out and was exclusive to college students and barebones. Now with the cluster of apps, app requests, data mining form apps, etc (I hate their apps if you didn't get that ;-D ) I've probably defriended a dozen family members becuase they need to stop sending me shit.

I'm not a big Facebook person and only check it every two weeks or so. I do like Google+ for my gamming circle though, so maybe a niche there for me. We'll see if this sticks or flops like buzz

Honestly, facebook will die on its own in a few years just like every other site like it. Once a bunch of old people get on it, kids will no longer want to be a part of it and they'll jump to the next website and the cycle will continue.
