I'm afraid I did not do the calculations of how many tnt that would be, and you are absolutely right ruly 
65.5k tnt might be a tad overkill 
And unfortunately it would seem that to get to an acceptable amount of tnt, you'd have to have a sphere with a radius of 5 leaving 523 tnt. And that's pushing it Either way, a 10 block wide sphere would not leave a crater big enough to be even close to glorious.
