Yea I would like to go there too but atm I'm happy with the small ghost town 20 km from me.

Weird packages I found in a house, if anyone knows korean I would appreciate if you would translate it.
While taking pictures in this house I heard voices upstairs, apperantely some people decided to spend time there so I sneaked out of there quickly.

Its a long story, many years ago, the Antwerp harbour decided to make plans for expansion, the town called "Doel" however was in the way of said plans so the government decided to let Doel be demolished for the expanding harbour. So after years of telling people to leave the town (I guess they were compensated) the town was practically empty, just a few people still living there. But then the economic crisis happend and the harbour decided to freeze the plans for the moment because they didn't really need to expand anymore. And that's the situation right now, the town is mostly empty but the reason for it is put on hold. However I've heard they are going to demolish some a part of it next week or month or something, it's just rumours though so I'm not sure. It would be a terrible shame if the town was demolished. The people might have been forced to leave their homes but now nature is claiming it creating a unique location to visit. Too bad it's full of graffiti, I don't mind it normall but the whole town is full of it.
