More adveritsement on vote sites like minestatus

hey,

you guys are advertising on minecraftservers.com but what about minestatus or minecraftsite?(minecraftsite is a new one it's part of provisionhost but everyone can use it). we should expand the advertising because if we have more places to be found more people will join.

It's proven to work. How do you think a person such as myself found the server ?

I call it fate ofc .

Personally I like the amount of people that play on the server. If it gets to crowded it won't be as much fun IMO.

that's true but not everyone will stay it's all about reputation, 1 out of the 10 players stays on a server,
because there are a shitload of griefers and hopeless players (the ones who tell they like it and then leave)
so it will never be overcrowded. my brother is an semi-owner on a server. a very big pvp server, 80 new people join every day but only a few stay and there are always people who leave after a short while.
so i think we don't have to worry about that.

We used to be #1 on Minestatus, these days with the whole 'pay $150 to get a place on an online toplist' or get 3000+ votes it doesn't seem like it's worth the effort.

Minecraftsite is what I was planning to sign up on when they first released, the catch is that to be added you have to install their server tracker plugin - this conflicts with mcbans (yeah, I don't know either) and means players cannot actually be banned.

But yeah, we're stuck between a rock and a hard place it seems.

More peope the better. Always. And if we do have overcrowding which i highly doubt, there's numerous ways to handle it. And i'm sure Orcworm would think of an excellent plan to handle that .

a solution can always be found and we don't have to worry about that,
this is a great server that needs to be known even more, because it's awesome to be a server owner of a server that almost everyone knows.
