TF2 Fourm, KF Fourm etc.

So now Orc is host Kf servers and TF2 servers along with minecraft, and I was thinking that maybe it would be a good idea to make a subfourm for those games in the same area as Terraria, and for TF2 for instance, have a 'Trading' Section and a 'Gameplay' section.
Just a suggestion.

That would be nice and all, but theres not much to say in forums about first person shooter games, for the most part. Just use the offtopic section or something

well a TF2 trading section WOULD be useful because instead of camping in game sounsing stupid, you could post it here for everyone to see.

Is already being worked on/thought out for quite a while now. Besides some dedicated (sub)forums for the various games (or flavor in case of the Chaos-server) we are also looking into some better administrative system since our current forum(host) is pretty inadequate when it comes to some stuff.

Also, we aren't a big enough or diverse enough community to have some sort of Trading section. We got too many of those 10 year old CoD4 fegs.

And the many of us who play TF2 are looking for items, which I GARUNTEE that someone in this community and will trade.

Your point is invalid, because you couldn't GUARANTEE I didn't play TF2.

Don't be a dick Krellyn, that position is already taken. Besides both of your suggestions are valid. We could use a Trading-section, but as almost nobody uses the forum it wouldn't be all that useful. This isn't some catch-22 where making a separate subforum is useless since the forum isn't used much and the forum isn't used much because we don't have anything to offer. No wait... it IS a catch-22 but it's also one that is easy to break. Make the forum more interesting / offer more -> get more visitor -> makes the forum more interesting.

Well why not make the sub-forum, and to help with any jumble that gets added or slured around recruit another admin for the forum, because from what I'm aware of there is only 2 or 3 at the momment. I am in no sense trying to say that the current admins are lacking in anyway shape or form, but it would be helpfull as the forum expands.

It's not that the forum admins (Pete, Patrick, Ruly and myself) are lacking... it's that this forumsoftware/host is a bit retarded when it comes to certain areas. Areas such as permissions, moderation/reports and ranks/groups. Besides that we don't have anyway to modify the installation beyond some fairly basic (and very restrictive) stuff.

I know, one thing that I did notice before though. There is a forum staff and a forum admin section, yet they are the exact same thing. I know it's a small thing but there isn't really any need for it. But back on track here, I am aware the forum is limited, I am also aware that the 5 of you work hard to keep this place as far from anarchy as possible, with the same going towards in-game admins and moderators. But in my own opinion there are some things that could be easily added to the forum that might help generate more users. This is one I have never thought of before but it is a good idea. Also an extra Admin or 2 would help thin down the work you guys have.

he has 3? The only one I know about is the vanilla server that's always empty

Maybe 1 sub forum for all the games, and sub-sub forums for each game in that. Maybe called "Other Games"
