Error Can't join server

Um... I didn't quite know where to put this. I have this error called internal exception : java.IO.exception: Bad packet ID 17.

I tried getting on other servers and they appearently work, though I don't want another server. I want this server. Could somebody please help me fix this?

Edit : now i'm getting a internal client error : java.net.ConnectException : Connection time out : Connect

The error that you have means you're using an updated client(1.2_02) to access the server, which is still 1.1_02
Clicking the link and following those instructions should help nicely.

Not true at all, I am using 1.1_02 and I get internal client error too..

I believe the "Took too long to log in" is related to MCN, rather than this server.

Yah but the orcworm server gives the download link to a folder. In that folder, I don't see anything named minecraft.jar

To print screen, hold control and press print screen, then open pain(or whatever image editing software you use ) and paste it into a new image, and then save it.

You don't extract the file, you replace the minecraft.jar file that the game already has with the one you downloaded, via copy-pasta.
Just go read the instructions and do the steps. >_>

so dude, if you want me to try to fix it download [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and PM me the info and i will be able to acess your computer and be able to do it for you. if anyone else needs help i can also do it this way. dont wory you will be able to see what im doing at ALL TIMES and if i was to start doing something bad you could stop me ( i wouldn't mess with you.. unless....)
