Sorry I don't use Camtasia, thought it was free. Fraps is my preference, I tried playclaw but it was kinda lame.

My trial is almost up for Camtasia. The editing really sucks, but I don't need to edit my crappy vids, so I'm fine with it for now. Gunna download fraps soon.

By "the editing really sucks," do you mean the editing in Camtasia? If so, Camtasia isn't meant for editing. Just recording and pre-editing changes.

The point was that FRAPS is a proc whore, and I recorded a proc-heavy game with it at 60 FPS, jackass.
