Connection Lost (Please help)

I was trying to log into the server and got to downloading terrian then I got an error message saying

Connection Lost
Internal exception: java.io.IOException: Bad packet id 127

I think it has somthing to do with how I made it so I could login but I followed the intructions on the website

You may have downgraded your client just as I transitioned the server across to Bukkit, I've updated the guide at orcworm.com, you just have to delete the "version" file in your .minecraft folder.
