I want a new computer

So I myself want to start programing/coding and maybe do other stuff and I need to get off this dinky piece of shit comp.
I'm really committed to this, but sadly I have vague knowledge of computers and such. I've been following anonymous and I think they are fighting for a good cause, they've kinda inspired me to program and code, but not ddos programs or anything xD

If you could help me and give me some pointers and tips, or even give me a certain computer, and give me details like the make/mode,l and the RAM, ect.

Eclipse runs like shit on netbooks, and their hardware is about comparable to a Pentium 3 I imagine, so you'd need something faster than hardware from 10 years ago.

Are you serious? If you can afford a good computer, why would you waste it on a Mac? And how does a Mac look better than a PC?
