just wanted to say that yes i did kill gnomey and tyriel they said that i tp killed them.. so i must post this.
i tp'd to gnomey because tyriel said he wanted to wage war. gnomey was the only other one there.. i was there for like 5 minutes b4 any battle happened.. i got hit with an arrow by tyriel so i attacked him. when i turned around gnomey was right up against me so i instinctively attacked...(good creeper reflexes) and killed him.. they got all there stuff back but gnomey is saying i tp killed... it was an accident and i didnt mean to kill gnomey. just tyriel. and he knew i was in the city so he was ready. just thought i would explain before they post.

sorry about that gnomey did not want to wage war. tyriel did.. i accidentally killed gnomey is what all the fuss is about. i didn't mean to that's why i posted this

I've talked to others and they said when they pvp when some1 sneaks behind them they kill them by reflex as well.
its just when you turn around and something is right there you get the instinct to hit it away sorry Gnomeygnome

But, why the hell are you going around tp killing people after getting banned one day ago?

I wouldn't call tp-ing, waiting 5 minutes and then killing someone in response to being attacked TP-killing. This seems more like an unfortunate set of circumstances. And since they got their stuff back and seem seriously sorry about this, I don't see why you should be banned.

But, and explain this to me very carefully, how the flying fuck do you keep getting yourself in these kinds of situations?

That's like saying I could /tp to somebody in the middle of no-where who's doing nothing - mining in their cave somewhere - wait 5 minutes or for them to attack me (in probable self-defense) before I kill them..

Alright, timeline-time according to Devan's post

1. Gnomey wants to wage war with Devan
2. Devan teleports to Gnomey
3. Gnomey and Devan twiddle their thumbs for 5 minutes
4. Tyriel attacks Devan with bow and arrow
5. Devan kills Tyriel
6. Devan turns around, sees Gnomey standing right before him
7. Since Gnomey asked for war in the first place Devan obliges and kills him.

Again, how is this anything but a normal PVP-battle? Your example of waiting for someone in a cave is also not TP-killing since, hey he attacked you first so it was self-defense.

Devan still used teleports to gain access to his enemies. I would still call it "Teleportation PVP". It doesn't matter. If he didn't have teleports int he first place he would of had to find them himself, which would of probably stopped this from happening.

tyriel knew i was there and he wanted to pvp me so he wanted me there quickest way was tp

why the heck can he even tp to his victims, can donators do that? isnt that total BS on a pvp server?

donator.. and it was planned pvp.. he said he wanted me to go to him cuz he wanted to kill me.. i wouldent directly go to him so i went to gnomey on the other side of the city

When he got there, he was attacked by a third person (Tyriel) and responded in kind. This making Devan the victim and thus rendering ANY claim to teleport-killing null, void and utterly retarded.

Had Devan teleported to Gnomey and immediately proceeded to ram his sword up Gnomey's ass THEN we would be talking about teleport-killing. Which would have resulted in a swift and un-appealable ban since that shit is just power abuse.

Seeing as this did not happen, as Gnomey initiated the PVP-battle with his request and Tyriel made the first move, I will lock this topic in 7 hours. You have until then to make a clear argument why Devan should be banned for perfectly following the rules of engagement.

I don't understand why people keep trying to find reasons to ban Devan. Sure he may have done some questionable things, but he's still following the rules.

first ban was me paying invision to place blocks in his house. jarvis thought i was griefing and i got banned

second time was me harvesting crops for some1... i replanted all of it too... they got all the stuff from it and i still got banned

third was spawn killing i think?
