Rune crafting particulary broken

Ive been creating several teleport runes today when suddenly i became unable to use runes anymore all of the sudden.
Whenever i try to use a rune, nothing happens. Usually you would at least get a message if something went wrong but theres just nothing, not even a text notification. The compass rune still works, though.
I tried reinstalling minecraft but it did not solve the problem. Can anyone help me out?

Are there any other tier'd blocks next to your runes? Broken Waypoints?

His waypoints work fine for me, are you left clicking rather than right clicking or something?

negative. The runes i make are perfectly set up and fully functional for all other players.
My portals work fine... for everyone besides me that is...
i think it has something to do with the text messages you get from using a rune because i still can use the compas rune, which does not have any text message popping up when using it.
And no, i am rightclicking the runes. I know how runes work i had a pretty productive day today until that bug appeared.

Maybe you have to many runes set up and activated at one time, that it doesn't allow you to use em unless you destroy one of them activated... try it. =P Just a guess. =D

I had the same problem happen with me today. It occured actually right after Nero taught me the power tool rune. Suddenly my waypoint would not activate as a valid waypoint. I was trying to set up a jump to my land plot in SpGiygas's village.

I, aswell, was experimenting with teleport runes when the bug occured. Maybe it really is the script of the teleport runes that caused us to break... by the way i cannot connect to the server for some reason. Forget about that, i can join again. And im no longer broken.

I also had some problems with the Runes, I was trying to do the phantom torch rune but when I right clicked on it nothing happened. I'm thinking you can only have one Rune effect at a time, so if you currently got a Power Pick or other tool effects it might not work, I had power pick when trying Phantom Torch.
I'm not sure about this, I might read the wiki some more maybe I can find something.
