Redstone Wiring Services =D Empty Redstone Wiring Services =D

    Post by gamemaster1494 2011-03-08, 09:45

I can wire redstone stuff. Mainly i can do

Doors (2 doors) with lever: 25 gil(You provide redstone) 35 gil(i provide redstone)
Doors (2 doors) with 2 buttons: 35 gil(you provide redstone) 45gil(I provide redstone)
Door (1 door) with lever: 10 gil(you provide redstone) 20 gil (I provide redstone)
Alarm System (Blinking lights when someone steps on a plate, as well as a reset button (noise extra)): 100-500 gil (depends on size) (YOU MUST PROVIDE REDSTONE!)

Any other jobs you need? Ask me! I will try!

NOTICE: Jobs done with doors, requires 6 blocks of solid land below the main floor. IF its an empty room, thats fine, but no water please. If for some reason i have Frame Per Seconds Lag with the redstone, it may take me a while to finish the wiring. Sorry. My computer sucks!!!

Most people don't keep the same computers without upgrading for past 3 years...

(Where did he say its 5 years old?)

Well you're wrong; most people keep their computers without upgrading them until they stop working at all. You just happen to be part of the 20% or so that has decent knowledge about computers.

I've been getting used computers about once every 1.5-2 years. Used are the best in my opinion. For example, my last computer was awesome (for the time) and it was 25% of the price because it was refurbished. It had one scratch on the back.

The only reason a "Used" computer might be justified as better than a new is because of the price and that's it. It's not a car that needs running in Razz

    I was basing my assumption on "people not upgrading atleast once in the past 3 years" on that everybody I know (in the UK) - who uses their computer for mainstream activities - has upgraded within the past 2 years maximum.. But for Worldwide stats;

47% of gamers or PC-users currently use Win7 - released around 1.5years ago
61% of gamers or PC-users are on a system capable of running Directx10 or higher. Not widely supported for low-end PC's until atleast 2008
39% of gamers or PC-users use 4 Cores or higher. Not available at a reasonable/mainstream price until late 07 / early 08.

You do know that under 50% aren't considered... "most"; right? Also, that's only people who use their computer to play; a lot of people, and by this I mean a LOT of people don't play games on computers.

I was merely showing you don't require computer knowledge to know when to upgrade a computer.

    ---
47% using Windows 7 - Bump this up to 74% using either Windows 7 or Vista. (Released: Jan 2007)
    ---
"Most computers which are 5+ years old lag with MC..."
"Also, that's only people who use their computer to play; a lot of people, and by this I mean a LOT of people don't play games on computers."

    Self-explanatory.

If you want I could make a poll on the forums to ask users how old their computer is? Or perhaps on a social network site where less people use their computer to play games.

Oh, but I didn't mean that a lot of people who play MC lag; I was just pointing out that most computers would lag when playing it.

    I know you didn't.

But I'm fairly sure the general percentage of computers actively used in househoulds would not lag on Minecraft.

I'm a red stone engineer as well, Gamemaster. I'm glad to find another that hasn't dismissed this valuable tool. My crowning achievements are a 12 destination switch board for the train station on my private server and my six digit, order sensitive combination lock. :-)
