Battlekids Will

Greetings.

I haven't been on in forever, especially on the forums.

It has come to my attention that my fellow friend, Battlekid, picked up the intangible bar of soap that is our server, and dropped said soap, disrespecting the server through forms of Fly hacking, Devan-bashing, further Devan-bashing, TNT, and that one night we both got drunk with Hellen Keller, and he threw the cow in the swimming pool.

I DIGRESS.

We had awesome times, and he was nice enough to state this in his ban appeal:

"GIVE MY HOME, CHESTS AND CITY TO TANGYLIMEORGASM please. That is all..."

Apparently there is some stipulation as to who actually controls the land (other owners being potentially GaMeRG77, and Jarvisd), but under the assumption of this form of a Will, I am entitled to his homes, Stockade, and all of the chests belonging to him. If there can be proof that these were the two previous owners, I would love to create some sort of plot negotiation, and how to split the land.

On a serious note though, you are forgetting the small print that Orcworm owns all of the land, and that we, the admins and mods are the duly protectorates.

Jarvisd, it is how bans should work. Especially when the banned person has expressively left an acceptable will. Just because they are asshole, doesn't mean we should be too. To the rest of you fucking vultures. Stop claiming stuff. Either the banned person leaves a will (and whether it will be executed or not is up to the admins) or all his stuff will belong to the server to be later used in, for example, community projects.

Darkxephos - No. As has been explained, some of the items Battlekid are believed to have been gained by cheating or abusing World Edit (clear evidence is his home where he has Bedrock walls etc).

If we were going to (And this in no way means we will or won't) give the items, then it would be the ones we believed to be legit

There should be some respect for the dead- err, banned. Even if they are ass'es they should at least be able to give thier stuff away if the admins approve. (not calling battle an ass btw)

Why should someone who violated the rules multiple times get rights? The only thing they should get is a global ban. [This doesn’t necessarily apply to this case]

Yah well battlekid was well respected and I served over 2 months with him as a mod. I feel he has the right to dictate where his crap goes.

Hmmm... I see this as 2 options: 1) Fawk tangy and let jarvisd and gamerg77 have the stuff. 2) Respect a banned persons wishes and give Tangy their stuff.

MY OPINION:

Even though battlekid was a mod, he still got banned... what if someone got banned and said: "Okay.... But kill orcworm for me, ok?" Would you follow that? The person is banned. I liked battlekid... but still.. he is banned. I say split it between tangy, jarvisd, and me. =D

Well in my opinion i had no run-ins with battlekid and so I reckon he deserves at least this request, slightly off-topic who is devan anyway?

No. It's Tangy's , just because we promised it; we don't break promises. For future bans; noone gets anything.

Sure, but if they are executed is decided on a case to case basis and any of duping suspected items will be destroyed anyway.
