house pvp rules

recently i got killed by atheyn in my own house and he took all my stuff including full diamond armour and a diamond sword and pickaxe. and the mod's said that this was ok to do, and refused to make atheyn give the stuff back, my suggestion to improve your server Orcworm is to make this not allowed if the owner of the house says its not allowed, that way less people will quit when jerks tp to their house and kill them, and there will be less crowded chatboxes after someone like atheyn kills people and takes their stuff (atheyn also killed cowwface and took his stuff). This isn't a complaint, so dont say it is, it is merely a suggestion to help improve the quality of orcworms server. thank you for your time orcworm.

The thing is, you can set it so no one can tp to your house

"/home help"

"/home private" only you can teleport there

"/home public" everyone

you can invite people and also uninvite them later, just check the help

Is skoglol a donator? then he could /tp inside, which would be an abuse of commands and result in ban.
But i believe you just didnt lock your damn doors. If there is a way inside, then he is allowed to kill you.
I was murdered in my own house too some time ago, even had my doors locked, but they got unlocked after some patch, didnt know about. I died, lost all my shit, but i didnt make such a drama out of it.
Leave no holes in walls, lock your chests, lock your ooors... and dont carry 40 diamonds around

Hard to lock my doors when I want players to come in (my house is a hotel and I'm trying to get more players to live in it. But I think I found a solution to my problems, I'm just frustrated that there are jerks who run around killing other people for profit. And I guess I did overreact a bit but still 2 times in 1 day losing 40 diamond each time that'd get anyone furious

That is true but what difference does it make since people are just taking them from me, at this rate in just over a week I'll have no diamond

When I'm out hunting, I will kill whoever pops up on my screen. Instead of whining about it in chat and on the forums, you should rather pick up a sword and get revenge
Oh, and one of the most important rules in pvp games where people can destroy/take your stuff: Never bring something you cant afford to lose!

And for the record, Aethyn (I can never get that name right!) got killed by my raiding party a few weeks back. He dropped a full inventory of diamond tools (which he was in the process of making), full diamond armor and a stack of diamonds. No whine at all (unlike cowwface, which yelled his face off in chat), just made a new set and got revenge

whats the use of a hotel, where other ppl can come in and murder you. Really nice place to stay. With 800(!) Diamonds you should make more than enough money to zone your hotel

Fun fact though, even if they had locked the doors, the one I walked in was wide open

dont open a hotel if you cant get it zoned or anything that other players can go in and use/look at cause it will get griefed and people will kill you
go far far away from spawn and make a small house/castle and gather resources for town/city w/e and get more money to get it zoned

Our rules on PvP and stealing are very, very clear.

A) Don't spawncamp.
B) Only kill people you can reach without using commands (/TP-killing, /home) or griefing (destroying the door).
C) You can steal from unlocked chests or dropped items.

Seeing as the rules are apparently not broken in this case, we aren't going to do anything about it. If you hadn't noticed already; this is a PvP-server. If you want to go build in a happy-go-lucky world where ponies quietly nibble from your plants and bunnies fornicate in every other bush, I suggest you find another server. If you however aren't scared by the thrill of the hunt, then go steal your stuff back and slaughter your assailants!

Skoglol I would've got revenge except you tped away, and rendarg it is partially zoned and the area I was in was zoned, and fillerb a quick question? What are the no Pvp zones in the game?

Spawn City and any other zoned area of which the no-pvp flag is set. I don't have a list at the moment of which these are. The "No spawncamping" rule is primary for waiting at one of the exits of Spawn City but can also be invoked for waiting at /home-points

Can I set a "no Pvp flag" at my zoned area? Or is that reserved for admins and mods or something

I don't handle zoning myself, but I don't see why not. Go bother Orc with it =D.

Seeing as the only thing /locate does is, if I recall correctly, show the XYZ-position; no. And if he had gone invis, then thats an unfortunate bug. Can't really ban someone for something he has no influence on or way of knowing it occured.

I have never sold 800 Diamonds.

I sold 25 Diamondblocks at an auction for 12500 or something. And got the ending price at 21500.01 gil.

I think, nay expect, someone to automatically get banned if he happened to auction 800 diamond blocks out of precaution for duping.

I did not auction away 800 diamond blocks.. I only auctioned 25 once, and 23 later (2-3 days later).

This was all from my cave (my /pw is ./pw mine). I used Power-Pick to find many of the diamond gems. + I also merchanted/bought diamond gems, and made them to diamond-blocks and sold higher..

I remember bidding competing against gamerg77 for tons of diamond blocks that you were selling (auctioning), I can't remember the exact amount it was. there were a lot of them and I remember bidding a total of 11000 Gil for them aka 11/13 of my money and I just remember that I got them pretty cheap. And afterwards I had a total of 800 diamond (NOT DIAMOND BLOCKS, idk where that confusion came from) maybe gamerg77 will remember the amount if your so curious invision.

Skoglol 2 things 1: it wasn't my excuse if you look I got this intel from johannes, I don't know where he got it from, and how reliable it is

Sneaking makes the name over your head disappear, thus making YOU appear to vanish if there is something obstructing your view. Makes it easy to hide and lay in wait for an unsuspecting victim in PVP.

Yeah, well, I'm tired of folks complaining about getting killed and throwing around accusations of cheating. Maybe, MAYBE if they know how it works, the amount of accusations will drop just a little.
