Weird stuff happening around my castle

This used to be all water, with cute little islands. Now overnight, there is a layer of dirt over everything?

So, any admins/orc wanna have a look at it?

In addition to that, 12/13 paintings in my castle was on the floor. My castle is zoned.


Edit: For some reason, the paintings are back. I still have the ones I picked up in my inventory :p

BB is giving me zilch on these blocks, so I'm thinking someone got their grubby hands on cuboid.

I can't see the images through the school filter, but is this by any chance near the spawn or the Pokemon stadium?

It's not around there orc, this is at the north border. I walked straight west along the belt of dirt for 17 minutes, and found the end of it.

To my knowledge, this was not here when I logged off around midnight last night. However, I cant be 100% sure.

My home is on the belt if you feel like having a look when you get home

It's definetly WorldEdit of some sort (I've no idea how it works so I can't say what) but the "tracks" carry on for a while, eventually coming to a stop to a suspiciously flat and empty land / with a straight edge on side..

I've set a pw called "Edit" by the flat land etc, if anybody wants to take a look.

Funny, I never thought of it, but I went one way from my /home for 17 minutes and came to the end. It stretches the other way as well

So, I'm curious. Will it require a rollback to fix this?

Should be "Lose". "I will lose so much". Lost is past tense, lose is future.

Second sentence is past tense. should be "Worked hard". "hard work" would be used in the sense of "I did hard work today" or "I will work hard today."

Something similar happened to me. As a filthy little noob to running a server, I used an archaic way of closing it down whenever I needed to change something (pressing the red X on the top right) Because I did such a horrible deed, some terrible phenomenon occurred: chunkfucks. (coined the term myself) It screwed the map completely. Random ass chunks began to generate all over the place: in the middle of cities, mountains, oceans, etc... So, hopefully last night's server downtime didn't chunkfuck the map.

I doubt it was a chunkfuck (I like the term!). The damage seems way too regular for that.

Yeah, from looking at the pictures, I'd have to agree. There's no random cut-offs and everything, for the most part, is still there.

WorldEdit is a realy powerful plugin =)

one wrong comman or just somthing wrong and the server crash you cant //undo this so be careful or we lost this world bzw need a rolebag

As of now, I'm really unproductive. No point in building anything if there is a rollback.

The only way to 'fix' WorldEdit damage is through a full rollback, as there are backups made every 24 hours we'd be looking at a pretty large one. Would probably be less hassle for me to fix it for you in-game.

Edit: Oh, and I seem to remember something about the backups beeing saved around midnight? Logs say he did this 30 min before midnight, so wouldn't a rollback actually be out of the question?

Mai bad... I am use sp area. Also I didn't destroy anything I just coated it by accident with grass. :\ I cleaned out spgs area as far as you can see.

Skog: Just for future reference, backups are made at 5AM GMT as I've found this is around the time when there's the least on.

So in other words, we would still have been screwed? Or do you keep backups several days back?

I have daily backups from the 26th January . Enough space for about another two years worth.
