Please Unban My Friend

Hello.
Yesterday my friend was unfairly banned form your server. His name was Bluebannana. He had just bought the game and had never played it before. He called me and i told him to go on this server (i know him in person). He didn't even know how to go down a ladder so i had to give him a few tutorials over the phone. When he got to my house (after about 30 minutes of telling him how to type) he asked me if he could make a chest. I told him that he needed 8 pieces of wood, he didn't have any so i told him to break 8 pieces of wood of my house. Whilst breaking he told me he got disconnected. When i went on the server later that day, everyone had told me he had been banned for griefing. I am very sorry on behalf of Bluebannana and i hope he will be unbanned from this misunderstood ban.

Well, str needs to get some screenies here. There IS a fair chance that Rum's story is true. After all, it sounds like he was taking the logs DIRECTLY from Rum's house, which he was permitted to do. The ban was justified of course, but if it is a grief permitted by the owner of the house (RumDoodle), then he should unbanned.

We shouldn't be banning/rolling back griefers unless it's confirmed by the owner of the land/building/whatever anyway..

That's why they appeal, right? Of course, these are extenuating circumstances, as the bannee does not know how to register for an account (he may be of special needs by the sound of it). Either way, if the owner of the property allows the grief post-ban, they can confirm it in the appeal thread.

Yeah, in this case, if it's confirmed that the supposed "griefing" was on RumDoodles property and not elsewhere, then it'll be an unban and then no appeal will be required.

Tboc told me to see this grief and he didn't know who bluebannana was so he just presumed it was a griefer.

Also added the proof picture, but it was a misunderstanding so I think he should be unbanned.

As per the new evidence, it IS clear that bluebanana DID grief the glowstone. However, the owner of the house clearly stated that hew wants him unbanned and since the decision to unban is the grief victim (RumDoodle), the banner (str0pr0wng) or Orcworm, the griefer should be unbanned and the thread locked, unless someone has any other say.

tl;dr: Unban Bluebanana since the grief victim wishes for him to be unbanned.

Use Red for edits.

Use Olive for "Archived" and forum staff/admin notes. (Only Forum staff and Admin can use this, I think.)

WTH? Blue is for moving/merging/splitting and red is for banning... >.< Also, about the images... That's how you do it. ^_^
