Well I found two diamond veins in less than 5 mins, along with an iron vein, a gold vein, and 3 redstones. I was having a good time mining

I buy all my stuff due to my impeccably terrible luck.

Not one bit. It was carefully executed using sell rates from the sign shop and buying simple good such as stone or logs to create tools, furnaces and workbenches.

Essentially, I was the ultimate middleman. :3

I'll explain (as it is no longer applicable):

Buy a stack of cobble for ~10 gil.
Make 8 furnaces.
Sell 8 furnaces.

The math: -10(for purchasing a stack of cobble) +10 (for 2 furnaces) + 30 (6 other furnaces) = 30 gil profit.

The numbers got even bigger when I bought logs. :3
