Lovely. Unfortunately, there isn't a damned thing I can do about a honeypot ban. That's the boss' call, but he usually gives second chances for honeypots.

Essentially, I posted so he could hear it from a mod (i.e., a position of authority) so he wouldn't blow it off.

As I said; he's asleep. It's regular course though; he acknowledges what he did is wrong, we unban him, we ban him again a week later because he griefed again.

Um, only Orc can issue unbans anyway. The banner just states whether they want the bannee to remain banned. If we say yes, HE unbans them. If not, he lets them stay banned.

In other words, we have permission to ban, but not unban. The system is best that way, anyway.

It's to prevent abuse. Think of it this way:

Mod A bans Griefer. If Mod B was good friends with Griefer, Mod B could unban Griefer whenever Griefer was caught griefing.

Make sense?

Admins would be able to find out if/who unbanned a player

Then maybe Orc should implement unban for mods+. :3

Admins can say if they are to be unbanned or not. If they decide they should be unbanned they can use the console.
