Edit: Also I am very concerned that my chest will get ransacked is it unlocked after ban?

His story checks out there is a 4 day old tunnel under that touches the tnt. I would reccomend a second chance.

I did see a tamed wolf in the tunnel.
I was going to kill it but I didn't know if it was against the rules.

Smart move, Hamosh. Killing tamed wolves is considered Semi-grief... a half-day ban at least.
