overbuilding

[center] After a series of disputes, myself and Fatpanda (now banned) built a wall protecting our property against pvp attacks from another couple of players pickles and jd(both have a number sequence following the text in their names). The wall was built out of cobblestone and a door spanning quite a distance partially around our shared property with a minimum height of two blocks high and a door. Upon relogging today (4/16/11, or 16.4.11) I found a wall built over our property, including our wall, in the making the original wall was not damaged, but they did place many blocks over an easily visible property line (they had to use other blocks to climb over it). Lizardman reported to check for griefing and couldn't "find any reports" on the set blocks, Jarvisd came in for further clarification and could not reach a decision if such was punishable, suggesting such a report filing here.

If what they've built is actually touching whatever you've built then it could be considered grief, yes.

fatpanda built over our wall we was just beginning to build, it wasn't much due to our lack of cobble. but the next day your wall appeared. built over our small wall.. so.... ask jarvisd cause me and jd brought him to investigate before we went to finish the wall..

the wall didn't trap them in their homes, but I am reaching a resolution with pickle, because the area inbetween our walls is annoying. the wall went around two sides of the house. the area was disputed from the start, I believe we both claimed it as ours, so when they built this...walkway thing we claimed our land. the walls are next to eachother, so if a mod could destroy the new one and we could give jd and pickleton rights to the door I think everyone is happy. pickleton is that good with you? (walls are within 10-20 blocks and parrallel)

note: I never wanted a ban, just a warning and filed report with a resolution.

ok, I talked to jd and we came up with a solution.
Our wall shall remain in return we'll won't attack you outside the walls unless threaten to do so.

I say merge the walls, destroy the parrallel part (mine) keep the intersection and you can grief it to put in doors all you want, I will lock them with privledges to yourself and jd. can explain more in-game. I believe this is the best solution for both sides of protection, and I would like a cease-fire allaround with ourselves.

seems fair, now if you can come and take down your wall. ;s

let's see if jarvesd can remove the part considered griefing then. otherwise I will do it slowly, but will start with the top right away so you can get to your wall.
