Alright fellow forum goers, here's the deal. You want to know how to downgrade your Minecraft A.S.A.P. so you can do whatever the hell you want to do. That's fine, awesome. All I ask is that those of you who need help, read the guide. Also, those who can provide feedback with other operating systems are encouraged to do so. The more knowledge in this topic, the better it can be.
Windows 7
Step 1: Download a previous version of minecraft.jar the server rolled back to. Make sure to SAVE the file in a location you can remember!

When you save the .jar file, make sure to remember where you save it to.
Step 2: Replace the .jar file in the directory with the one you just downloaded.
Simply drag the minecraft.jar file, and put it into the bin folder where minecraft is installed. Select the option "Move and Replace".

Step 3: Profit. You can now run Minecraft in the earlier version! Pat yourself on the back!
