Does Donating 100 Pounds Give You //?

I'm fairly certain Orc stated in a prior thread (not sure which; may have to do some searching) that if you donate 100 pounds you will get //, or as I lovingly endear it, dat Gawdpick.

Is there any truth to this or was it sarcasm/satirical/etc.?

Filmjolk sent £150 and asked for nothing in return, a 'donation'.

Well, first off it can't be tracked by a block log... and that's it, there is no second point since I'd never give it to anyone ;p.

Do you know the definition of "Donation" Lizard?. The few benefits Donators get are just "thank you"-gifts in return.

Come on, Filler; nobody donates just for donating, they buy benefits in-game. The one and only exception to this was Filmjolk.

Following that reasoning to the extreme we should just open a korean mmo-style Cash Shop?

I, unlike other peeps, am not in denial as to why I donated. I did it solely for the perks. :3

We already have that; mate... For the money you pay IRL you get money ingame, you get teleportation (which is awesome considering the speed at which you walk on Minecraft), you get flying, you get zones... It obviously isn't just a "thank you for donating", they're buying stuff. I'm ok with it, we all need money, just don't jump onto Lizard for asking if rich people can get even MORE benefits.

Always with the overreactions! I didn't "jump" anybody and if I did it certainly wouldn't be Lizard.

I donated for the spirit of donation. Took me a while to do so. Once I saw the server had exceptional staff (in regards to making play enjoyable for the members by providing exceptional grief protection) I donated.

I'm donating for the sake of keeping the server alive and well...but also to get tp since /pw doesn't work...

If you donate £100, you get respect.
