Steam Deals!

As quite a few of us have/use steam (if you play PC Games then you should definetly have it!), I thought it'd be good to have a topic going for the deals they offer.

If anybody spots a decent steam deal, come and post it! (Preferably multiplayer games, as we all know singleplayer games can be pirated easily)

(I am in no way stealing this from the Multiplay forums.. xD)

Currently ArmA 2 is on for £4 !

(And DiRT 3 is now available for pre-purchase, gogogo)

ARMA 2 online will be good, go get it.

I doubt some computers here would handle it.. I struggled on stock OC's and with a 4870 o.0

However, I gunna buy Arma 2, the singleplayer is terrible, editor is awesome and I want to try multiplayer.

Yeah... I was pretty upset it was only hovering at 70 maxed.

Thats the engines fault, its everything else but optimized.

My 2gb ram lenovo laptop runs games at high enough fps even to satisfy Orc

We all know we rank computers based on how much ram they have, or how large the HDD is.

8GB Ram,1TB Hard Drive

8GB, 2.6TB, ran out of space.

2Gib RAM, 260 Gb HDD.

Timings on that RAM Yarwood? Mine're at 1264 from 1600, 7-7-7-21 from 9-9-9-24... don't know if the trade-off was worth it or not.

Not 100% sure, I think they are currently at 7-7-7-20 if my OC configuration hasn't reset itself >.>

Just saying, I'm gonna make sure EVERYBODY sees that.

Epic game when it isn't buggy... Kind of like... Minecraft? O.o

Funny thing is, it's never been buggy for me before. Depends on the mods you play. Also kind of like Minecraft.

The only real bug that prevents me from playing is;
the landscape sometimes blurs when I scroll (probably ATI-related)

Other than that, I could spend hours on it!

I have 200 hours on my singleplayer char ^^

Graphic glitches, graphic glitches everywhere.

i nabbed bad company 2 for $7 during the christmas sale... too bad it can only run at 15 FPS on my laptop


*Edit* since you gentleman recommended it, I got mount and blade at 10 pm. I went to bed at 3 having not moved from my computer. I have a probelm

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is a complete waste of money (luckily I stole it from somebody at a LAN ) - Reason being: All cars handle the same (shit), even on easy, there's a few tracks that are quite hard and will take numerous attempts before you get it perfect, there is no fun at all whilst racing. Do Not Buy.

Shift is pretty good and well worth the £5.10 if you like the track-racing side of NFS! I also thought that it's better than it's sequel (Shift 2 Unleashed - handling issues)
Undercover is awesome for the police chases and shit.

I bought Sim City 4 for €2.5 yesterday during 'The Sims Day'.
It's still on!
