Vacant Tower Removal Request

I've been spending mucho time with axes, picks, and shovels to flatten out this land to buld a village, but there are two big, vacant towers in the way.

If I could remove both that would be great, but the cobble tower if far more in the way than the wood one. But they are also completely empty:

As you can see they are both empty, incomplete, and do not contain anything personal like a chest of locked door. Anyway, I was just hoping to get permission to destroy if not both, at least the cobble tower. Thankyou.

Were the towers there BEFORE you started flattening the land?

Yes, I believe they are pretty old. Well, as old as the new map anyway.

Then why did you start working on a place that had buildings on it already?

I know, it sounds stupid. But I just stared digging at the closest open space near my house and just kept digging, but then i hit the vacant tower.

I don't see any towers at my home.
