Was I Robbed?

I was just checking back at my house, there is no coal in my furnaces, some of my chests are empty, and both of those i had stuff in, one chest had stuff i didn't put in there in there, i will admit that i did not lock the chests or furnaces that were stolen from, but i did lock my doors, and that was the only way in, did someone like an admin take my stuff while i was banned for a couple of days, or is there a griefer on the loose?

If you didn't lock them, regardless of whether or not your door is locked, it is your fault.

You are the definition of an idiot. Derp did an admin rob me, because really there is no way someone else who walked in could have done it. It had to have been an admin.

Anyone can get passed a locked door by using levers, buttons, pressure plates, or some other means. It does not automatically mean that the Admins plotted together to steal your stuff, anyone could have stole your items. Pro Tip: Use /cpassword to lock your chests instead of the usual /cprivate because the latter can be quite buggy at times.

But srsly, lock your chests and furnaces.

Damn Admins and their ability to bypass the lack of permission to open locked chests and doors.

Could have been a donator using his Compass and used the /thru mode. One way to get in there when a door is locked too. I personally don't do that since I don't know If it is some sort of abuse (which actually is) of the donator powers and if you can get punished by doing that.

I believe this is called grief and it's a banneable offense

Giygas from my current understanding, as long as you don't kill the person inside the house you can /thru into it

Using thru/compass to get access to unlocked chests you can't get to in another way is considered abuse of commands. Bam. Demotion.
Using redstone circuits to open locked doors is considered exploiting a bug. Bam. Banned.

I banned 6xxsonicxx6 for the latter reason. :3

kinda the guys fault shouldve locked the chests. i know that from previous experinces when i was a noob at the game but how could a guy get in unless he knocked down the wall took the stuff then re-did the wall again.

Update: i just tried to lock all my chests, turns out they already were locked, can someone look into this

While putzong ariund my old house I found Many entrances into your house through my mine, smy suggestion, doors, and locks.

EDIT: I also remembered from intox (the good ol` days) that you generally have to unlock and relock chests after an update, because sometimes locks don`t work, also there glitched right now and dont work well.

Like that time Orc upgraded LWC and everything became unlocked!!! (back in 1.2ish)

Because when he updated lwc, they changed the way the locks were saved. Anyways, if in doubt.. re-lock it.

You guys dont understand, i relocked them and it said i already had.

Just an fyi /cprivate does not work properly 100% of the time, so if it was being buggy, someone could have taken items from your chest, may I suggest again that you use /cpassword instead of /cprivate so you can prevent future items from being stolen from you.

To reapply a lock, like in your case, youll need to remove said lock.

/cremove should do the trick :3
