No. Keen came out in 1990-1992. Dangerous Dave came out in 1988. Scorched Earth came out in 1991. The Incredible Machine came out in 1993. And as such they are staple games for anyone growing up in the 90s. EVERYONE who so much as played a single game in those days knew of these gems.

It's more about old games in general now.
For example what I personally cannot stand is that most people seem to think that Duke Nukem started with Duke Nukem 3D. It didn't. There where 2 extremely good 2D platformer/shoot-em-ups before it. And they were imho BETTER than DN3D.
