Public apology: lag

This is a public apology, apparently the auto harvesting farm was a really bad idea, the enormous amount of wheat destroyed at the same time seem to have brought the server down to it's knees.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience I've caused and will disable all full scale harvesting activities from now on.

Auto harvest by water flow?

The amount of lag from an auto harvester is only localized to a specific area. The reason WHY it's localized, is because when the water breaks the wheat, it spawns seeds and wheat drops. The sheer amount of these drops (with minecraft trying to render them ALL) is why there's FPS lag. It's not actual server lag.. unless you have some gigantic Superfarm with 10,000+ plots.

Oh, ok nevermind then. I also thought the fps lag was localized only, but when I saw all the people complaining about lag while all the stuff was going down the water flows, I thought it was the huge amount of items that were also rendered by the server. ^^;;

Yeah water harvest, around 2k wheat and almost double the seeds, all going down with one bucket.

Hehe. I watched Gornemant's water harvesting in action. It was very impressive! I wish I had thought of that...
