Statues, Statues Everywhere!

Alright so, after building the turret statue, my good friend Wolfhe and I decided that we want to continue making awesome statues around the map where people can see them and appreciate them. If anyone has any ideas/locations post a picture to build off of for the statue and maybe show me in game the building location. Please keep the ideas to more well known topics so that they can be better understood. (Donations of wool are more than welcome)

Sadly I only saw the movie but reading the book is on my to do list. (i really hope we're talking about the same thing)

I think we may require some assistance with the creation of an Anubis staute for Abydos, i'm not sure if Dan decided to make the statue himself or not, sounds like something you could do?

Yes that could be possible but a picture may help and i'm going to wait for wolfhe to get on because he usually test builds it in single player before hand.

Ah yeah we had a picture we were trying to work towards and the area has already been set out, i'll try tell Dan you may be able to do it if he want's to pass over the torch

I'm working on building chthulhu's lair (R'lyeh) and I was thinking of building a statue of Chthulhu near by. How ever I would be glad to let you build it.

build the cyberdemon, and then doomguy with a plasma gun shooting at said cyberdemon

I really don't have that much of a clue as to what you're talking about so a picture would be helpful...

Most of these I know more or less what you want or where to find a picture, but from now on please:

Post an 'inspiration' picture of whatever you want the statue to be built of, and preferably the size of the base so I know how big you want it.

Then, I can start work on a prototype in Single Player if I like the inspiration picture, and send you updates until we all get to something we like. Sound good?

Just remember that the smaller the statue is, the less detail there is, and I only have as much height as you give me from the floor to the top of the map.

Also I read Hitchhikers when I was 12 but when I was on like the 5th book I realized that I was basically just staring at pages and turning them every so often. still finished it, but I can only recall a few parts of it

i had an idea to build a mini-luxor out of obsidian, idk if i will actually be putting this into action, cause really i would need a heck-load of obsidian, but yea maybe if i had people helping me, i might be able to do it.

Who has been to the Luxor? I have Bish! Has a nice sphinx in the beginning and everything! The inside has so much detail.

If I were to build the TARDIS, how would you want the inside to be? Most likely it'd be just like standing inside a blue telephone booth instead of the awesome time machine/spaceship that the TARDIS actually is. :3

The movie sucked compared to the rest. Book >= Radio > Television >>> Movie
