Ok, here's how it is. the 100% truth of the what, 5-6 months i've been playing on orcworm's server?...:
I started in a small house when i bought a plot from Daholomon. I had very little Gil/items at the time, and was killed alot which made it worse. i Moved to a bigger one, in the sky city, which was about 5x6 blocks. i tried to make a decent house but failed, and was burned at the time of the map reset, which i was looking forward to..a new begging.
I started with a house off the path of the 1st exit of the spawn tower. People asked to live with me, so being myself, i said yes.
Soon enough i had 3 other people living there and they were griefing, fighting with people, and causing many problems.
I then moved into a secret location along with steckron, which became our new home. we worked alot and made great progress, until people found out about the house and about 5-6 houses came and joined us. i then built yet another house next to it, for a bit more room to myself, which was broken into several times.
So finally, i moved to Omega city. I had great plans for the place and built a hose with 6 floors. i built some hotel rools as decorations but was asked if killerdonkey1 and sergentpineapple could join me! when they did, havoc was yet again wreaked, with fights, wars, lootings, and Omega city was eventually full of people camping with diamond swords and piling up in my house, which i had intended to use as my safe, no-pvp home. Tons of people camped, causing me to lose approximately 300gil in about 20 minuted because of campers in my home. I've lost many posessions. All i want is somewhere safe, with no pvp i can live in! can i not have that? I am willing to pay lots for Something like that. Other people's actions seem to be causing me problems and losing me items. i Didn't ever want people living in my house but i didn't want them to feel bad either. Does ANYBODY out there have a possible place to stay? I got so sick of pvp after my place at omega city, and would really enjoy some help from somebody. i spend so long on my structures, up to 4 hours total for the house at the moment. then it is wasted by some person in my house that wants everyone to die, and then try and kill us in My house! I know alot of people won't take this seriously, and people will ignore this message, but i really feel that i have had enough. this IS a serious message, im not being funny. If anyone out there has a place i could buy, i would appreciate that greatly. all i want is a peaceful home, with no disturbances. I've tried so hard to find this over many servers but you're the only people i can find. i also have alot of friends on this server and would hate to lose them. I'm sorry if i have wasted your time with this message, but please reply with serious answers and respect that i've written something like this in my own time.

But anyways the more populated a server gets the harder it is to find secret places. What I suggest is go very far away from where everything is. Go on a mountain,see if you can see any sign of civilization,if you can keep on going if you can't go to an area and build underground. An underground house that you can cover up that's far away from where everyone else is and get some trusted friends with you. You can live your entire minecraft life like that

Why don't you build walls around your home? You can call mods or admins if any PvPer teleport or grief inside. That worked for me and Embair before we got the Lion's keep zoned...

The thing is that he can't go outside without people like me Jhubbz_ GodJmike or others killing everyone

But people in my house open the door, i tell them not to and...OMFG! yet another person camping in my house when i have a stone sword snd they have full diamond. So because of somebody else, i give away countless amounts of diamond peace offerings and yet STILL get betrayed.

Then lock the door,but if you're suffering from lwc bugs then that's a different story.

But really don't complain and get used to it,it won't go away. You still have my idea to go REALLY far away.

1) Lock the doors
2) Don't give offerings, turn those diamonds into swords

Loli, i'm sick of doing that. if you'd read my message, i said ive done that 5-6 times and want to move somewhere without pvp. people ALWAYS find me, ask to stay, kill me and im sick and tired of it.

build at bedrock or do as jello says and move into a pvp free city...

Move to a pvp-free city Octo, and keep kids like Killer and Serg out of your house =/

2) build house
3) no pvp and greiefers get banned faster

Try archeron,looks pretty cool. You should go on tours of the city,there are ports near the spawn.

[ad]Lion's Keep is pvp-protected and you can travel from it to major cities without ever leaving protected zone. Currently you can only buy a humble room there for 100 gil. Of course that's hardly something to call home. There will be plots and houses for sale in the future, though strict build style restrictions will always be in place. Id say move to a city, with no PvP - then settle down abit, maybe help around the city or go get revenge on them all

My solution... move to one of the borders, lock your doors, and don't let people move in with you unless you really know them and trust them. Border lands are great!

Well, get some Iron armor and a diamond sword to walk around with. Build a house without people, and locked doors were you spawn So.. you dont get pvped. My properties all have a good wall if its near pvp intensive areas.

No offense Oct, but personally, PvP / Being robbed / etc stimulates the economy. Otherwise people would just mine freely, alone, forever -- which does nothing for anyone. That is basically single player. With multiplayer survival, people lose their items. It gets lost somewhere or thrown into lava and people need to buy more. Creates supply, demand, trading, etc. All good stuffs.


I'm extremely anti-grief, but killing someone and looting them for their possessions is not griefing. I don't even consider breaking into someones home and stealing everything they own as griefing -- I consider that a part of a sandbox game. TP Killing, Spawn Camping, etc -- that is griefing. That is not cool. If you cant' find someones house and just TP to them to find out, also not cool. If you're legit and follow them, without getting caught? Props, because that's awesome.

Online games have turned into a rule fest or people going to admins for help, rather than "Aragh. Alright, you got me. I'll get you back." mentality. Yeah, it sucks losing a stack of diamonds. Some people are "cool" about it and give you back your stuff -- other people ransom it back. Some people keep it for themselves. Either way, it makes everything ' better '. And there is that saying in open-world PvP games -- if you can't afford to replace it, don't carry it with you.

Yes, lwc glitching sucks, but what did you do prior to lwc? You hid your chests in clever places. Underground, behind walls, in the ceiling, etc. You anti-grief your house, build in secret locations, etc. Just sayin', you know, that without the convenience of some mods, people would be screwed with how they just leave everything open all casually.

And yes, trusting people is usually a mistake unless you know them really well or share the same goals.

This Guy Rules. You speak the truth fully. I loved coming up with chest security systems in the servers before LWC. Right now I hate the fact that people complain about the creepers exploding and taking out areas. I can understand certain areas like Spawn and the Major Cities having protection from all of it, but individuals and their towns should tough it out. I had a semi rude awakening vs Monsta and later fought him again for the hell of it. PVP is awesome, Camping isn;t. Bottom line is survival of the smartest. Hide your bases well. And if your a diabolical sonuva bitch like me, you'd have read the art of war and bugged the shit outta your base and surrounding areas, Part of the reason for loving replenishing snow. Anyways. Yeha. Best offense is a hellholed defense. And a lot of bacon and arrows.
