OK guys, as much as I dislike PureCraft, I must say something:
A lot of people say "oh, ok, that admin/mod/owner/whatever is pretty cool".
Then, by some rare mechanism you have inside your head, you decide the following:
"Ok, now I'll insult him, since that's what I do with my friends, and they're also cool".
The thing is, an Admin, while being just another player, and just another person, is an authority and should be respected as such. No matter how good friends you are with them, but calling an Admin even a slight thing, such as "silly" in the server, is wrong. If you think an authority is doing something wrong, or you have a personal problem with them, PM said person on the forums, talk to them in-game using the private message in the chat, get on IRC and speak to them privately. Sincerely, this is just thinking straight, if you go to a teacher in the middle of the class, and shout at him something among the lines of "you're just being silly now/ You know nothing/ I hate you, you fucking slut.", you are OBVIOUSLY getting in trouble, no mater how "cool" your teacher is. On the other hand, if you wait for the class to end and go to them in private and say "I think what you did in class was wrong, in fact, even a little silly", the teacher might actually try to understand what they did wrong, and eventually fix it.
TL;DR Never insult an authority in public, do it privately.
Finally, if you DO contact the authority in private, use the right wording, and don't insult him, and he still does a mistake such as abusing powers, you direct to his superior and talk to him about it. You don't post about it on a public forum either.
Of course, these are just social rules, and you are not forced to follow them, but if you don't, don't go around whining.
BTW, and just to say this, I have no problem with people calling me anything, as long as they are ok to be called the same back. If you call me mister, I shall answer in the same way, if you call me slut, I will not get mad, but I'll call you bitch. But this is not the case with everyone, so behave.
