Lag Problems, but just me

Hey there,

I have problems with lag on the orcworm server, except it seems that although my own messages take ages for them to appear, whilst for other people, my posts are instantaneous. (Proven by using a Skype call). My theory, however, is that it is the spawn zone that lags for me and so I've begun a slow journey of walking 10 blocks, quitting and then walking away. People chat to me and say, "You've just been killed by a zombie" when I've just seen one. Is there any method I can use to stopping this lag?

Assuming it is actual lag and not a low framerate, have you rebooted your router?

Edit: He's in Australia, I'm getting a 360ms ping, that's probably why.

I'm in Australia and I get some to no lag.

Have you tried port forwarding on your router? It might help you, and if you didn't have any lag at the server before your router is probably a little old or you have to resett it to factory properties. Do you got a name and a picture of it?
