confused about ban: youshallbeshot

hello,
I have just tried to login to the server, only to get the message: Banned!
I haven't played on the server for about a month(technical issues) thus am confused about the reason behind my ban.
please may I have an explanation as to why I am banned and if appropriate a second chance.
