Slave's Texturepack. :3 Download it nao! Updated!!

I wasn't sure where to post this, so I put it here, hope you dun mind.

So I made a mashup of the textures I like best and put them all together, and added my own tweaks to it.
Some textures included from Garudoku and Johnsmiths texture packs, as well as my own additions.

Texture pack includes:
Non-purple obsidian, more 'visible' ores, brighter diamonds, cool looking armor, firey-fire, stoney-stone, bright water, grass, flowers, and trees that grow in multiple bright shades of green. :3 And glowstone that doesn't look like vomit. Also includes lighter clouds that aren't so obnoxious and impossible to see through. The steel doors are bars, as well as hatches. And lighter wood as per request of Jhubbz. <3 Cause the dark wood is depressing.

MCPATCHER: - You need this in order for fire and water to look decent.

How to Install:
- Download Mcpatcher.
- Download the texture pack
- Drag the ZIP file of the texture pack into your texturepack folder in your .minecraft folder.
- Open Minecraft, go to mods and texture packs, select Awesomesauce.
- Close Minecraft.
- Open Mcpatcher.
- Select patch. Don't do ANYTHING else.
- Close Mcpatcher, and open minecraft.
- Enjoy. :3

i tried it and i love it so far =D

only thing that throws me off is the planks, they seem to... white O,o but everything else is awesome. ill be using this for a while =3

I noticed some things I need to change.. one line of pixels on the dirt, and one line of pixels on gold blocks and chests.. seems there was some cropping issues. But I'll do that later. So you can keep using it until you have to update again. xD But yeah I love it too.. I did the lighter planks per jhubbz's request as she liked the lighter planks in another texture pack but hated the rest.. so I basically mimicked their shade. You get used to the brightness though, and it starts to look charming. heh

so this is not related, but uh Your location is posted new england. cant think of anything else RHode island? the ri in my name is Rhode Island :-p just wondering. and uh yeah I used to use jollicraft with the super bleached out planks annoying at first but you get used to it. I'd use this pack if 1. it was lower res, 2. the glowstone didnt look so.. barred.

I recognized some of those mashed up texture packs, and for some reason recognized the cake on the table in that house, because it looked really tasty through the window....

It's probably because i'm too used to default :p I must agree it looks awesome in Orcs statue, perhaps my first thoughts where wrong!?

I made the glowstone myself cause I hated the weird ore-spongey looking thing, and the other lanterns I found were far more 'barred' like in dokucraft. It is kinda orangy, but I got used to it looking super bright and shiny. xD

I think it's all completely awesome and beautiful, apart from the way which a stationary block of lava looks so much different from moving lava - it's pretty noticeable. The rest is faabulous.

I water is pretty awesome and the glass, cobblestone, grass, sand and sunrise are better than what I'm using at the moment.

To me the plank look a bit bamboo like. However, the lighter color planks contrast quite well to normal logs and in some cases appear very nice compared to the original darker tone.

Additionally the blue beds are an awesome change.

All up its a very colorful and lively text pack.

I updated the minor issues, all fixed now. :3 Also made glowstone a little more detailed, as well as brightened the lava to look more evul. Other changes.. less saturated ice so it doesn't resemble diamond blocks so much, and made the dark wood darker.


I fixed the line of missing pixels in chests and gold blocks and the one pixel missing in iron blocks.. as well as updated other things as I said above.

I think a wicked cool thing would be to make logs have the same texture on the top & bottom as the sides, so I can build stuff with two colours of wood without the ugly loggy-ness all in mah face.

I put on this texture pack. Very nice! Mobs scared me when I was working with my chests. Heard a skeleton, looked up and had a mini heart attack
