grief in placida Empty grief in placida

    Post by aapl2 2011-06-07, 14:11

So I was given a small plot in placida from philies built a small home on it and expanded the plot then built a mine, philies was fine with this. One day I decide to go work on my home there and I find that philies sold the share of town he owned to rykleos and that rykleos had destoryed my home had my chests removed and I recived no warning about my plot being destoyed or did I recive payment for the plot.

I am reporting this as grief beacuse I wasnt warned about my home being destroyed, and I wanted to keep my plot and house there.

picture of the plot below (my cursor is on my plot)

I dont know exactly what went down, only that there used to be two huge buildings that were torn down today indirectly (but directlyish) by Rykleous, who (im pretty sure) paid/let them keep the materials from the demo of some buildings.
As far as I know, aapl2, Jhubbz_, Muttley and Anthony had plots that were effected.

Here are some screenies after what ever happened happened. (LWC /cinfo is included to prove ownership since *someone* decided to delete the lb logs ^^)

I had checked all the logs before tearing down homes to ask if the owner wanted them. I saw no evidence it was yours and it looked like the owner did not care for it because it was shitty. Don't take this as an excuse because nobody wanted their lots in Placida until I wanted to remove them

Edit: It was his but he had no registered chests, no signs, and the logs didn't prove it was him. I wouldn't have done it if it said whose it was. Misunderstanding or am I in trouble here e.e?

ryleos: hey philies who owns this plot?
    philies: oh aapl2 owns that

is it really that hard to do ryk?

edit: is no one going to rule on this matter?

Any admin ruling on this needs to understand the logs were gone + no signs + no locked chests. How was I supposed to know he lived there? It was an accident and I will gladly return his lot if need be.

When did you check the logs? Because orc deleted them recently.
And as for not wanting thier houses, would they have built them if they didnt care? There were two HUGE buildings that were destroyed, IDK if you got there permissions, but they didnt look shitty.

And destroying something that is yours even if it looks like shit isnt allowed.
Rules wrote:I) DO NOT REMOVE buildings of players that are away for a long time, or have been banned. Let a staff member do it.

You should have had a Staff member take a look at it. Not take it upon yourself to tear it down.

I've offered to fix the damages, replace the lot and repay him 200 gil. If he doesn't accept and has one of the last few old players banned then I'm sorry I tried.

How was it a spam post? If he did as he said in his last post then surely you have nothing to complain about? I doubt a griefer would act as he has.

I'll fix the damages, replace the lot and repay you 200 gil. If you decline, then too bad it was my land and I did not have to carry over the plots. I bought the space and I CHOSE to keep your home. I'm trying to be reasonable here.

Jhubbz accepted a replacement plot because that was obviously my fault but this was an honest mistake and Orc basically told you to accept my offer. I don't see why people didn't want their lots until I tried to clean out the city and it is my land.

aapl, stop trying to get other people into shit, it's ridiculous. The guy didn't grief random buildings, he didn't grief and log off, never to return, he willingly offered you any materials and currency for his mistake.
