I got banned? And I'm not sure why, but I promise not to do it again!

Hi! I've only played minecraft for a week or so, and I got some friends to join, and brought them to the server, and I was trying to walk them out to where I live from the spawn point. We all three got banned, and I have no idea why. We didn't take anything until we seen a sign that said it was ok, and we just took things to make swords. One of my friends said it might be because we stayed in one of the houses close to spawn when it got dark. If that's why, I'm REALLY SORRY. I had no idea, and if anyone warned us not to, I totally missed it. I had no idea we weren't allowed to stay there. And I will MOST DEFINITELY not do it again! I am utterly crushed... I had such a happy home built! o.O Please please please let me come back to the server I promise I'll read every sign withing a hundred miles of the spawn point! I honestly did not know, and my friends xmancharmx and demureheart were just following my lead. So what they were doing was totally my fault. So..I'll tell them to appeal too, but they're COMPLETELY new at minecraft and were just following me. I'm really sorry. my minecraft id is amberking. Again, I'm so sorry. I had no idea.

There was a sign nearby that said you could take those things! We didn't destroy anything that obviously looked like a building or something. We just made a couple swords so we could make a straight run to my place! I honestly did not know that I was doing something wrong.

And I remember you! You were right next to us taking things, I told you to stop following us cause it was creepy and I didn't know what you were doing. I thought you might try to kill us or something random. Idk. You never told us we were doing anything wrong. I honestly thought it was ok.

Please don't double post. And this place was way after you guys made those tools. There was no sign here. And you obviously griefed. There was over 100 blocks that I rolled back between the three of you, and griefing 3 blocks on this server gets you banned. >>

I'm up for giving you guys another chance, but I believe it was completely deliberate griefing, and do know that I will be watching you if that's the case.
