Well, we could equivocate that to _Bzar and the like nerdraging over being banned and DDoS'ing the server. People get insurmountably butthurt over such trivial matters, even in the real world.

I honestly don't think that the fans were the ones doing the rioting. The "Hooligans" as people call them, only attended this game because they wanted to start shit, win or lose. It's those people who planned to cause a disturbance in Vancouver that actually caused it, not unruly sports fans who wanted to vent their anger.

But on a more serious note; I fully agree with OnlyMe. These are not fans venting their frustations, these are just your old ruffians up to no good. You see this kind of shit (admittedly usually not on this scale) all the damn time with mayor sports.
