First of all this:
Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act (COICA)
The [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] was introduced in September 2010, but did not become law.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]The proposed Act would have allowed the U.S. Attorney General to bring an [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] action against an infringing domain name in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], and seek an order requesting [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].
If granted, such an order would compel the registrar of the domain name
in question to suspend operation of, and may lock, the domain name.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]The U.S. Justice Department would maintain two publicly available lists of domain names.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
The first list would contain domain names against which the Attorney
General has obtained injunctions. The second list would contain domains alleged
by the Justice Department to be infringing, but against which no action
had been taken. Any service provider who willingly took steps to block
access to sites on this second list would immune from prosecution under
the bill.

The first denied law was that US could block domains. The difference is
with this law is that The United States can block certain sites and
shutting it down for all other countries. Every site these people don't
find legal can be blocked. Including Youtube. If a lot of people claim
about copyrights on youtube it could be shutdown. In theory, although
with this site it won't work because everyone would rage.
A lot of sites will still be able to be surfed to but IF this law was approved it would have meant the end of torrenting sites.
Now they came with something new which is to be proposed in France and in England:

I'm sure a lot of people here use torrent sites and I want you to notify of these chances. I found it fucking lame. It also had benefits, like child porn can be pwned right away. Also, yes, if any of these laws will be accepted 4chan will finally die.
Anyway I support a site which has been listed under this line. It's has 300,000+ members and it's growing and a fast rate. If you think this is not large and you don't want to become a part of this BECAUSE of that reason, screw you. If your not interested, fine but signing something because it doesn't matter is just bullcrap. You can sign this stuff in 90 sec...
If you want to support the fight againts these internet censorship laws go to: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
You only have to fill in a sort of list. With your name, country and e-mail adress. I can verify your e-mail will ONLY be used to get you updated of the lastest news of censorship and link you to sign more of these things if another law is being proposed.
