It's a pvp server... AFAIK, and unless rules have changed, he's entitled to kill you. I haven't been on the server for some time, but last time I did, there was a PVP status mod... iIs that still active? If it is, you can't complain...

Nah, it isn't. As long as they're not griefing to get to you there's no problems with it.

I was under the impression that PvP wasn't allowed in cities.

I don't know about that, but one thing I do know is that people aren't allowed to kill others while in their plot/house.

Because of this, I now have signs posted at the town entrance saying no PVP within city limits.

Well, if we want people to not fight in certain places, zone those, it would be a lot better...
