X-ray user finder.

I was wondering if we have a mod on the server that finds x-ray mod users. If we dont i think we should. I think we would find alot more x-rayers that way.

Just found out there isnt such a thing. Soo never mind. ;P

The only similar plugin that exists stops x-rayers all together, thing is it's filled with glitches and would no doubt cause some lag.

I would say the best weapon against x rayers is common sense a little bit of effort.

(Simplified list)Easy to find signs that someone x rays:

1. Unlighted tunnels leading straight to rare ores

2. Has an excess of diamonds in shop/home/storage

3. Makes several remarks regarding x ray hacking in joking/not joking fashion

4. Lack of use of torches in tunnels which would = x ray texture pack/full bright

Not always easy to find signs

1. Sells diamonds at exceptionally cheap prices

2. Ask to mine w/ them, they have tunnels that lead directly to ores (Also applies in first list)

3. Is on Suspected X Ray Hacker list -- DERP

4. Friends w/ former x rayers or have lived w/ them



Those are some simple tips to look into if someone is using x ray hacks/material detector, basically, use your lb stick and bedrock to your investigative advantage to catch x rayers before the already fragile economy worsens.

Isn't there also a plugin that can detect how many transparent blocks are seen by a player? I've heard it's been having problems ex. Not working, but have there been any updates/improvements made to it?

Not sure how well FoundDiamonds would work on such a large server, but it announces when people mine certain blocks. (configurable if you dont want chat spam)

FoundDiamonds may be interesting, with perms on Guests/Members only.

Is it possible to only have the message be sent to a certain user group?
B/C staff can just pay attention to the diamond alerts and act accordingly.

Yeah there's two permission nodes to send it to certain groups.
