I was helping out a new person and they were hacking. The hack was only so they could climb 2 blocks. Not a major hack, but still a hack. And who knows, maybe they could have more hacks. Their MC name is "HappyOrwell".
Here is a screenshot. Not of them hacking but they did admit it.

I've heard about it, actually. It's some parkour mod where it increases their movement over certain objects (Such as fences, two high blocks, etc.) It's not really as damaging as fly hacks, or Xraying, as he's not really benefiting much from it.

If he turned it off after understanding the rules about specific client-side modifications, I guess he can stay on.

Yea, as OnlyMe said, if he actually turned off the client modification, then it's no longer a problem. But, if somehow, you, or anyone else catch him using that again, it would deserve a ban.

For being so... on top of things you do seem to regulary forget one teensy tiny rule. Here let me quote it for you.
6.- Allow the Moderators to Do Their Job wrote:We have selected a team of high-quality administrators for our forum, and they are all ready to handle situations. If we wanted you doing so, we'd offer you an administration rank.

While I (we?) apprecriate the offer of helping us out please try to keep statements such as "If he turned it off after understanding the rules about specific client-side modifications, I guess he can stay on." to a minimum. We both know that that can be interpretated like you actually have a say in the matter by people not as savvy with how things work around here, while it is just you expressing your opinion. Because _any_ hacks that give a clear advantage in gameplay (and being able to easily jump over fences is certainly that) is banned. But in this case, with him promising not to use it again, we can look the other way for once. As Mike said: don't let it happen again.
