Member rank

i was thinking that The member rank should be higher than a donator rank as i reccomended this server to some off my freinds and as they joined they donated a immeditely they were a higher rank than me and this was in November 2010 And i joined around christmas 2009. So Maybe longstanding players should be given rewards or something. Just A thought

Also, there's no way member rank will be higher than donator. People donate for extra privileges, commands, zones, custom titles, and of course... rank.

Sorry but there's no way someone who helps run the server physically, will be below a player who just plays the game.

Ranks don't even mean squat, who cares who's a member/donator... It's the commands that really matter (after helping the server being run ofc ).

I don't think that donator is considered a "higher" rank. A donator just has some new commands because he helped running the server. The only higher ranks are Staff and Owner in my opinion.

I think I see what he's getting at.
Maybe a Trusted Rank would be better, instead of giving members, the biggest group, acess to such abusable commands.

I always liked the idea of members who have played for x months gain a higher rank than member, like Ultra-Member. I'm joking about that name ofc.

I think the ingame ranks are ok as they are... I do think I will be changing the forum ranks though, (prolly not right now, but once we change to the phpBB thingy.)

I agree with Pete, the ranks as they are are good; i.e.
Guest can't do jack shit, to encourage them to play and get member
Member has more commands to encourage them to Donate
And Donators really can't go much higher without getting staff'd.
I think it's a good system (Not Trollin')

It's not that hard to get staff, even... even gamem got staff.

Just be cool and helpful, and hope for one of our current staff members to die or mess up horribly. You could also attract in enough people so that we need a couple more staff members. ^_^
